How to check the terminal block?

Single hole separation force detection, single hole separation force refers to the separation force that the contact changes from static state to moving state, which is used to indicate that the pin and socket are in contact. The experimental results show that the single hole separation force is too small, which may cause the signal instantaneous break when subjected to vibration and impact load. It is more effective to check the contact reliability by measuring the separation force of single hole than by measuring the contact resistance. It is found that the contact resistance of the jack whose single hole separation force is out of tolerance is still qualified. Therefore, in addition to developing a new generation of flexible plug-in contact stable and reliable contacts, the factory should not use automatic plug-in force testing machine for multi-point simultaneous measurement for key models, and should carry out 100% point by point single hole separation force inspection for finished products, so as to prevent signal instantaneous interruption due to relaxation of individual jacks.

Some terminals are used in dynamic vibration environment. It is proved by experiments that only checking whether the static contact resistance is qualified or not can not guarantee the contact reliability in dynamic environment. Because the connector with qualified contact resistance is often subject to transient power failure during vibration, impact and other simulated environmental tests, it is better to conduct 100% dynamic vibration test for some terminals with high reliability requirements to assess their contact reliability.

At present, the general terminal manufacturers do not have this item in product acceptance test, but users generally need to carry out conduction test after installation. Therefore, it is suggested that manufacturers should increase 100% point by point conduction test for some key models of products.
